Hello Sudger

How will you celebrate this most important of days?

Every St Geordies day I have a little sob to myself and wish I was back at home with the lads celebrating.

Where did you celebrate - I am passionately patriotic (despite wanting to emmigrate) but only me and my dad ever even acknowledge St Georges day. However on March 17th all these bloody plastic paddies come out the woodwork and drink guiness for no reason??? I might make a point of taking it as a days holiday Georges day and slay dragons or just have lots of beer !

Thanks for that, these sort of things are always good for a wind up either on the day at the lunch or I will use it on the website.
If anyone else has got any funny English stuff (not to say on ilkley moor is not serious) please send it in to our website

Ok - there's an Englishman an Irishman and a Scotsman and they are introducing their sons to each other

Scotsman: "This is my son Andrew - I named him so because he was born on St Andrews day"

Englishman: "Let me Introduce George - I named him so because he was born on St Georges Day"

Irishman: "Meet Pancake"
