depends which way you meant the bounce to happen. If you meant bounce upwards you were right.

Close last night at 40.25 i.e 2.4815

Hi Terry,

FOR WHAT IT WORTH ...

The Australian dollar has slipped from the pedestal it attained near 65 US cents at the beginning of the week, closing softer as the US dollar fought back to earn some gains.

It has been reasonably well supported and the correction in the (US) dollar higher has meant the currencies benefitting from US dollar weakness have taken a bit of a HIT - Euro and OZZY included," he said.

We have seen pretty skewed positioning, people very short (US) dollar across the board, and seeing that aussie could still make a move to the low 63s,

The currency reached a 40-month high at the start of the week at $US0.6506 before drifting lower.

A change in which direction though?

A break through that bottom trend line would be worrying.
