Default RSMS/ENS visa success anyone ?

Wondering if anyone has had any success approaching potential employers in Aus ?

Because of a points shortfall ( I'm OLD ) I'll need to get a firm job offer prior to the granting of a visa. I've had a positive skills assessment from VETASSES and now am wondering how to go about getting a job offer ( I don't want to rely on the Skill Matching database alone, I want to approach potential employers ).

Any comments/personal experiences on this would be most welcome.

What's your trade/profession? Depends on whether it's in real demand in Australia, also depends on your attributes and how flexible you are.

Have you looked to see if a state can nominate you for STNI?

Office Manager - 40 points.

But isn't one of the occupations specifically in demand in WA ( where we want to go ), so the state won't sponsor me. As such, I need to apply via the Skills Matching 134 visa and get a regional employer to give me a job offer.

I have a wide range of skills in office management, sales, marketing, customer service, training, investigations, complaint-handling, human-resource management, etc, etc. I am very flexible and would consider just about anything ( God, this sounds like a CV !! )

Only states can sponsor for 134. Employers can sponsor for ENS (anywhere) or RSMS (regional).

IMHO you are going to need to look quite hard to find a sponsoring employer for a job like office manager.
