Wink RSMS - Darwin

Although I have just registered with this forum, I have been reading the comments posted here for about a couple of weeks now. I must say that this is without doubt the best aussie immigration forum on the web.

We posted our RSMS Sub class 119 visa application forms on the 25th of May 2006 and received confirmation by email that the visa has been approved today. We are off to Darwin and I wonder if there are others in this forum who are already in Darwin or about to move there.

We decided not to use an agent as we felt that we could manage the application ourselves. We front loaded the medicals and included PCC and IELTS results (just in case they asked for it) when the application was lodged.

My wife was the main applicant as she is a registered Nurse. I am a Pensions Consultant.

we've frontloaded too - but we've had 2 nightmares in last 3 days - first was mess up on police check - they'd had a typo on my form so didn't read correctly so having to resend ... and then today informed that sons medical not completed fully so again need to get sorted!

keep in touch - we'd like to be there by October so lots of fingers crossed! (Hubby's being sponsored in for his job - he's a farm manager)
