I have been trying to set up (well continue really) a Royal Mail redirection, having done so twice before, but it seems there is a limit of 2 years. I completed the form online up to the payment section when it did not allow me to go further, but advised to go into a post office....bit expensive I thought. Has anyone got over the 2 year rule?

I'm afraid i cant directly answer your question but the royal mail websitel currently states that you can redirect for 12 months and then have an extension for 2 years? I read that as 3 years in total but i suppose it could be interpreted as 2 years in total?

I was amazed when my initial 3 months ended i never got an email to renew .. I actually thought i had six months so my post has gone who knows where for 3 months. I redirected to my parents initially until we got permenant address here. Now i find i cannot take out a new redirection for odd pieces of post as i dont have a credit/bank card registered at my old address. ??? Emailed royal mail and return email suggested i have to now call them ?!?!?

Do a BE search. I remember someone saying that they've been doing it for several years with no problems renewing. ...Unless the post office has put a stop to it
