Roof racks?

Roof racks?
Hi
Looking for some advice re roof racks, never had one before, so being a bit dumb about it.
We'd like to get a couple of kayaks, but first of all need a roof rack, we've got a Hyundai I30, so a fairly small car, does anyone with experience of roof racks and in particular, carrying kayaks, know if the car will be big enough? I guess a double would be out of the question but wondering if 2 singles would be ok.
Would we have to get one fitted by the Hyundai dealer (or will they just rip us off) and if not, does anyone know of a good make? We'd obviously have to get a rack and then extra stuff for the kayaks.
Have tried kayaking a few times and really keen to do more this summer, we're 5 mins away from a nice sheltered bay and not too far from other beaches as well.
Any advice would be great as I really don't have a clue!

I have been researching this - Eventually I called Toyota and asked them who did manufactured custom racks locally (non toyota branded). they gave me the number of their local guy and we are getting ours custom built through them. We had a specific design/purpose in mind and wanted to be sure they were done properly however they weren't anywhere near as expensive as a main dealer.
The guy was really knowledgeable on car models, the weak points in their suspension etc.
