When we were in sydney a couple of weeks ago - i rented a 2 bedroom apartment at Star City (http://www.starcity.com.au/dir013/in.../content/intro) - it was about £150 a night which is pretty expensive for Aus, but it was in a fantastic location - overlooking Darling harbour, the rooms were huge, marble bathrooms (x2) sky TV etc, etc also on site is a fantastic pool. A 5 minute walk and you are on the monorail and 5 minutes later you are in Sydney CBD. Also the ferries stop at Darling harbour too - so if you want to go the opera house etc hop on a ferry !!

When we fly back over later this year we will be staying there again.

Cant help on your hotel though, sorry
