jesus! its bad enough paying 10% stamp duty on your house purchase, then 4% stamp on your car purchase, but THEN.........
the bloody car insurance comes through the door with roughly 10 % gst (same as our vat) and guess what??? you got it ANOTHER 10% stamp Eeeeerrrr, excuse me? but isn't that like being taxed twice
I'm off to do a more positive thread, before i turn into a troll:scared:

As far as I know Stamp Duty is paid on all cars, we have had to pay it on our car and the camper

A bit like the private health insurance isnt it being over 30 she said we had to pay i think 11 % more than if we were under , good god i said (sounded very english )

Sure no one likes paying tax. But the streets are clean, kids go to a nice school, trains and busses run on time and are cheap.

Its just a shame they cant use the money at my daughters school to put in cctv , on tuesday nite little bratts put through over 110 windows in the school . Kids had to be taught in the library , they also have to go in early because they keep getting grafftied .They need CCTV but say they cant afford it !!!!
