Default Road trip query

Planning a road trip from Melbourne to Broken Hill (then onto Adelaide, Mount Gambier and the Great Ocean Road)

My question is whether a 4WD is necessary for the trip to Broken Hill ??

Cheers, Cas

Nope, Pretty much normal roads to Broken Hill these days if you want to take them.

You should be fine.

The mildura -wentworth , to Brokenhill road is better traveled during the day due to Animals, it is not fenced in places , about 300km with only one fuel stop......... mm
