Rising dollar puts $286m plant on hold
Not only refugees are having second thoughts , even polution plants like these boys are pulling the plug , near miss who would want this kind of crap anyway.
SOUTH KOREAN firm LG Chem has put on hold plans to invest $286 million in a central Queensland chemical plant.
The company, which planned to produce 300,000 tonnes a year of ethylene dichloride (EDC) at Gladstone starting in 2005, has blamed the rising Australian dollar.
