We signed up when it was introduced and have never had a sales call, it really works.

I signed up with them too and still get them, not only Asians but machines now...I unplug the phone if its a machine as it wont go off by simply hanging up. If its a person - I ask them which company they are from then I tell them I am on the do not call register and I am reporting them - they soon hang up then!!!

Got 4 in 10 minutes the other day - I shit you not!!!!

Even had the blaady cheek to try and get me to tell him who I was before he would tell me who he was!!

Told him to fark orf - seemed to do the trick in the end!!!

We signed up on the donotcall thing and it's really cut down the number of annoying calls we get. We still get the sales calls from Bigpond which is a PITA. And I occasionally get calls from the Regional Fire Service about their raffles and stuff - I'm normally fairly polite to them and just tend to point out that they've called in the middle of the day, on a working day, and I'm at home... and tell them that, because of that, I have no money

Got one from Telstra a couple of years ago - told them I used VOIP and they were off like a shot.
