Riding a Moped on a UK license (NSW)
Hi all
This may be a really stupid question but I can't seem to find any information.
I have a UK car license (issued in 1998). Over here, if I wanted to ride a small moped I could do so, up to 50cc presumably (I have code P for moped with no need for CBT on my license). I am looking at the possibility of getting a moped in Oz to allow us some flexibility in where we live (we wouldn't need to live within walking distance of a train station).
What are the rules on doing so in NSW, would this entitle me to ride up to 50cc there?
I've looked through the RTA website which does have information on learning on an Oz license, and that your UK license is transferable, but I fall into neither of those as I don't hold an Oz license :-S
Thanks in advance for any assistance

I'm not sure either. You could try phoning or emailing them.
