Most Vacancies ive seen in oz state that the applicant must have residency, does this include the type of temporary 2 year residency im applying for? ie an SIR visa , if it doesnt will i get a look in on the jobs front?

I don't think there is a definitive answer to this. I suppose it depends upon your profession. I've known of plenty of people come one one year visas and went contracting. Some ads just say 'the right to work in Australia' don't they?
