Requirement for multi-linguists in the Australian job market?
Does anyone know if there is a requirement for multi-linguists in the Australian Admin/PA job market? , We have looked at the employment agency web sites and carried out searches, but no jobs. The languages are Dutch/German/English, obviously were not near Europe but we would have thought that some International companies would require this ability from their staff!

Use resources like Chamber of Commerce to find Australian companies owned by, or trading with, countries you're interested in. For example:
http://www.ccife.org/australie/ for French-linked companies.
Embassy and consulate websites may also be a good source of links.
Another way is to put together your own list of big companies in Europe and find the Australian affiliate or subsidiary from their 'international' website.
And when you've identified the Australian companies involved, make some direct approaches to the decision makers (not HR).

Thanks for the replies; we will do some more research.
