We are coming to Perth in July and will be renting in the South of Perth, can anyone tell me what we need to produce to the estate agents with regards to credit checks etc....

Do they take your credit history here into account or do you have to start a fresh?

Are there any good estate agents that are recommended South of Perth?
Any good areas for a family with young children and that is affordable. We are looking for somewhere with a pool preferably.

Hopefully there is someone that can answer my questions

Hi Antoinette, how far South are you looking and have you sorted out somewhere to stay for a couple of weeks as soon as you arrive, we are in Rockingham and have a 3 bed cottage and a 5 bed detached bungalow we let fully furnished for short term. We find at the moment it takes at least that amount of time to find a 6 or 12 month rental, there is lots around, just lots of people applying for them. You are best off going to all the agents when you get here as they really dont take much notice of enquiries from overseas.
