Default Renting House while moving to Oz

Looking for any tips from anyone who's moved over to Australia while still renting out there house in the UK. Me and the family are heading to Brisbane in February and given it's only a 457 Visa it's probably wise to keep our house over here for a while just in case. So plan is to let it out using a reputable letting agent (one of the big companies).

The whole process is new to me so I was just wondering whether anyone doing the same had any tips to watch out for or any giudance on what I should/shoudln't be doing?

Thanks in advance.

if you can find an agent who specialises in letting (ie not an estate agent) they tend to be better.

They will advise you on the tax situation requirements and make life easier all around
