Renting on the Gold coast?
I've read lots of threads about the competitive rental market and cues of people lining up for each house but is this true for all types of rentals?
I'm going to be looking for a 1 bedroom flat/studio in the sub $300 p/w region, is the market as busy for this type of property as it is for family homes?
Thanks in advance for anyones input

Re: Renting on the Gold coast?
Unfortunately in some cases, it is. Six months ago we viewed a house at Wavell Heights (Nth Bris suburb) and nearly 20 people turned up. On the same day, we went to another place, and there were about 8 people we recognised from the first place. At a unit, there was about 12 different ones, but the owner changed their mind at the last minute and the viewing was called off. You just have to persevere, or you may get lucky and get the one you want at the first attempt.

You should be able to get something for that price. I know not so long ago, you could get a one bedder at Main Beach for about $330 pw.
