Default renting in Adelaide - Port Noarlunga, Moana, Seaford - any advice???????????

Hi
I would really appreciate advice about the following. I realise this is a much written about subject but I have done a search and found nothing. I would really appreciate anyone's views on the subject.
We arrive in Adelaide at the end of August and are looking for somewhere for a long term rental from mid-September onwards. We are a couple with a one year old and want to live in a town style community preferably near to the beach (yes we want the dream oz life!!!!!) We have had the following areas reccommended to us and wanted any input - negative or positive from anyone - Port Noarlunga, Moana, Seaford.
Thanks in advance
Susan.
p.s. can't wait to get there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Bix

I've just put a post there. I put one here too as I've found people here to be so helpful with other questions I've had. I know it's a really difficult question as it is quite a subjective one and really appreciate the link you've given me.
Thanks again
Susan

Hi Susan,

You should also have a look at Christies Beach, it's nicer than Seaford

Try this site, for rentals - http://www.propertypage.com.au/index...&category=rent

We are staying in Moana at the moment with family .Its very beautiful and has the most fantastic beaches .

Big shopping mall nearby and houses seem quite big although I dont know about prices as we havent looked here.

I dont drive so for me its a long way out from the city .Ive done the trip into town a few times with our girls (3and4) and its alright ,25 mins on the bus to Norlunga and then 45 mins on the train into Adelaide (there is an express during rush hours).

Everyone has been very friendly and theres lots for the kids to do (playgrounds, ball pits ,playgroups )so in all a good family area.
