easy - rental market is saturated, and it really is a renter's market at the mo

or do a search on the Australian yahoo or google.

Hi Steve.

We are also heading to Adelaide and plan on renting when we first arrive. Have to agree with the others. There seem to be loads of quite nice, reasonably priced rentals on the market.

When are you planning on going? We hope to be there just after Easter.

Sorry..i disagree...Adelaide is short of good quality rentals...and be aware that agents will not be interesed in you if you dont have good references. We had anightmare with agents. We ended up renting privately

Exactly what references did the agents require? And how did you go about finding a private rental?

they seemed far more keen to pick those who had previous rental references and as we have never rented before it became a sticking point as everything we looked at had 3-4 other renters looking
