Rentals in Perth

Hello,
we are off to Perth in January and going to stay with friends until we have found somewhere to rent/buy. My question is once we have found somewhere we want to rent how long before we can move in (providing it is already empty).

Depends how quickly you can move and how quickly the people renting can get it organised. There's only a small amount of paperwork to fill in. The landlords usually have to approve you as well, but again that shouldn't take long.

We went to see a place on the Saturday and moved in on the Monday, though that was a private let.
