Default rentals; how long before you can move in?

Hi Guys,

Can someone enlighten me as to how long it takes to move into an unfurnished rental, once you have seen one you like, and are accepted for???

We d like to budget, approximately, for furnished accomodation on arriving in Perth, and am hoping this wont take long!!!

Optimistically yours....

Hi Tash

Our unfurnished house took about 5 day from looking to the ok to move in...but we did offer 3 months rent up front...that made all the silly questions go away....I'm paying $330 pw for a 4x2..but there are lots of cheaper, just as good houses if not better on the market now..

Hi Tash, our experience is exactly the same as steve's, you need a few days after agreeing to buy some gear and arrange to get it delivered.
Good luck, Karen.x

We got a phone call on the Tuesday saying we had the rental, picked up the keys on Thursday and moved in on Friday
