hi there, really struggling to find a rental in south perth short term witout paying an awful lot out? can anyone advise the best wayto find a property or reccomend any? need it for approx 3 months at most from end of july. job is in jandakot . cheers emma

Best way to do it, is what I have just done. Fly in, stay in some crappy temp accommodation for 2 weeks and in that time run around like crazy seeing as many property open days that you can. Pick up an internet dongle so you can look online for the open days, get a gps and a rental car. When you find the right one put in an app but carry on going to viewings so you have a backup in case your app falls through.

Min term will be 6 months, if you leave before the 6 month term you break the lease and pay advertising, about $60 and may have to pay the rent for a couple of weeks until they find a new tenant. It happens quiet a lot and theres plenty of people looking at rentals so it doesnt take long to find a replacement.

Doing a break lease is the only way you will get a shorter term than 6months

no i mean south of perth i.e canning vale, success, atwell cockburn ect

anywhere that isnt too far of a drive to te jandakot area as this is where i will be worknig as a nurse.

just finding it increasingy hardto find a property that is furnished and avlible for a short lease as wewill be awaiting our shipping ect which coul take up to 12 weeks.
