Default Rental Question: Options for Family w/ small kids

hi guys,

would just like to verify something someone told me. Is it true that you will not be able to rent a 2 bedroom townhouse/house if you have 3 small kids? (age 7,5,3 yrs)..., so your only option is to search for a place with 3 bedrooms?

we are looking only at wynnum/manly and are planning to offer 6 months advance rent since we are desperate to live in that area since i was already able to enrol my kids in the Guardian angels school at wynnum and my aunt lives there...

thank you for any advice .

There's no rule, but I'm a landlord and I wouldn't rent a 2BR to someone with 3 kids. If you can find a landlord who will, good luck to you.

We rented short term rental, & it had 2 large bedroom, the landlord really didnt care, with 3 children & my 2 eldest were much older than yours.
I really think you will be better off with 3 bedroom than 2, not all property have large rooms.
