Rental market in North Wollongong area - Any advice?
Hi,
We are a family of four (x2 adults, x2 kids (aged 3 & 1)) with another baby due in July and are moving over to this area next month.
We currently have two ‘rental’ type issues:
1) We need to find somewhere to stay (fully furnished) for the first couple of months until our furniture arrives. Do these places exist in this area? We don’t want to pay a fortune as it is likely we will still have mortgage payments to make in the UK.
2) In the long term we need to find a decent 3 or 4 bed rental property in the areas of Austinmer, Bulli, Woonona or Stanwell Park. What is the current rental market like in these areas? We intend to provide the usual support documentation (mortgage/bank statements, references, evidence of work offer etc). How difficult will it be to find a decent property?
With another addition to the family due in July it is really important that we get somewhere to live asap. Any help/advice would be appreciated.
Cheers
Sally
