RENTAL - BRISBANE
Has anyone got any advice on the average rental price for a 2 bed apartment in the centre of Brisbane. We are arriving in January and are looking for a decent apartment to rent for a year, something modern and appealing and in walking distance of the city cente. What's a ball park figure for rental per week. Thanks guy's

We rent a large modern 2 bed/2 bathroom unit slap bang in the middle of the Valley for $380 a week. Most of the properties have gone up this year to the $400 mark so I would assume thats the going rate.

Re: RENTAL - BRISBANE
a lot depends on what area your looking at the nearer the city the dearer rent is.Same as the nearer the beach if you go to somewhere like Victoria point cleavland its a lot more exxy. If you go to one of the suburbs say in brisbane's southside its much cheaper and its so easy to jump on the M1 to the city. I know Burry Port Carms well and have been to Swansea .Like someone said earlier real estate.com.au is a good site.

Rental properties vary from Suburb to Suburb, I work in Bayside Brisbane and prices range from 320-750 per week for a house depending on sea views.

We are in St Lucia, not city centre but city cat right behind our apartment and if we hope on that a few stops and we are in the centre we pay $320/week. Good luck with finding an apartment it is tough dont get disheartened you will find somewhere.
