Is it worth renting furniture instead of buying? We are moving to au from Coventry and should be there by sep this year, so im trying to get things sorted out.

hi

we moved in April, our furniture is still in transit somewhere.
we are still sleeping on airbeds, but needed to buy a few bits anyway and were amazed by how cheap stuf is out here.
Bought a 3 piece lounge suite, its gorgeous and a fraction of the cost of the uk.
Check out this site:

they do packages quite cheap, and you can still knock then down in price or get extras thrown in as well.
Probably works out cheaper than renting as I think you need to take out a minimum time period of rental.
If you buy a cheap package and don't need it after a few months, then sell it!

Good Luck,

hi

just checked out that link, they do a lot more packages than there is on the website, ranging from $999 to about $3999 (£400 to £1600 approx).

If renting try PABS and I think that Radio Rentals (which may not be national) rent out furniture as well as TVs and white goods
