Default Removalists - from Ireland

Hi Folks,

Any of you who have moved from Ireland to Aus, which removalist company did you use? And what was the approximate cost?

Anybody else planning to head over, have you received quotes from any companies yet, and which companies did you talk to?

I plan to talk to the following companies myself to ring next week:

Crown,
Careline,
Beverley Smith,
Oman.

Any others, any experience of the above?

So many questions, sigh.....

Thanks a bunch,

D.

Hi Daragh

We used Careline in Galway - would highly recommend them - no problems at all. Michelle

My sister used Careline also and she found them fantastic and very well priced although Im not sure how much she paid but she rang lots of places and found them the most helpful and the most reasonable

Remember it being around €2k, Daragh. We had a three bed semi, but only brought a few pieces of furniture and around 25 large teachest size boxes, e.g. no beds, sofas, white goods, etc. We'd been married a while (16 years) and a lot of our stuff was starting to date, so we thought it was a good excuse to get rid and go shopping when we got here. Don't regret doing it that way. Best of luck.

Hi Daragh - think I read on another post about €5.5K for a 20ft container. This thread has all the info http://britishexpats.com/forum/showt...t=irish+expats
