Which company you are using? I got a long list of health insurance companies but I am not sure which one is reliable.

After much confusion, we ended up creating a table with the benefits provided by 4 or 5 companies and picked the one that provided the best benefits in the areas that we were interested in.

As a result, we went with Mutual Community (HBA's brand in SA. They're owned by BUPA). We've put in a couple of claims with them for glasses and a chiropractor and they've paid out according to the benefit schedule every time.

Have a look at http://www.iselect.com.au/. They're a company that compares various private health providers based on the information you provide.
