relationship evidence and bank statement
hi
Just a quick question for anyone who has gone through the visa application process recently, I am going it alone without a migration agent. I am including a recent bank statement as part of my evidence to prove a genuine relationship along with marraige certificate etc. Do I need to block out any info on it such as balance or account number/sort code for security reasons or is it quite a secure process. Thanks :) |

Re: relationship evidence and bank statement
Hi there - ours is in process of being approved now (I hope!) and it didn't even occur to me to black out any info. It's not like I gave them credit card details any way, only bank statements with account and sortcode etc on.
They thanked us for giving such a comprehensive application! If in doubt I would contact DIMIA, but I've not heard of anyone deleting info. I suppose it if even possible that it would look suspicious.... best to check with them I guess and get it from the horse's mouth. |
