Just did an online equote and it says that it's $800 odd for the year, weird! No idea lol

I think it might've incl some transfer fees, the car garage paid it, and the initial rego on the sign in the car window was different to the plates he put on the car when he sold it...

Ours is a Mits Pajero, 1997, 3.5 V6, petrol auto, so hopefully the garage did pay some sort of transfer fees as well as the 6 month rego lol

We bought a Holden Jackeroo a couple of weeks ago & hubby says that's about $360 for 6 months.

You can pay monthly... in a retarded kind of way:
$410.40 for 6 months... or
pay $410.40 for 6 months and from that point onwards pay $70 a month into a dedicated online savings account via a perpetually scheduled transfer....
in 6 months time - BINGO - pay the money from the online savings account..
Of course I cant be arsed with that - but if I was the kind of person who really struggled with budgetting for things on a 6monthly basis I'd consider it.
