registering for work?

Does anyone know if I need to register before starting work in OZ. I am a mechanical maintenance engineer and have my trade recognition from TRA but I am unsure if I need to do anything else once I get there.:confused:

hi,

im pretty sure you will have to register when you arrive in Aus, so long as you are going to continue in that trade.

if im wrong im sure the others will correct me
