Regional WA is generally anywhere outside the Perth metro area. A rule of thumb is anything more than 90 mins drive from the CBD, but there may be exceptions.

It would be easier if you were more specific about:
- which visa (there's more than one regional visa)
- which area of WA

Thanks for that. Its just for my friend who wants to extend her WHV by an extra year by working the harvest in regional areas. I just wondered which areas were considered regional outside of Perth.

wheatbelt area is considered regional - we are about 1 hr from perth
