Default Which region of Brisbane are considered similar to Sydney's eastern suburbs?

Hi
Thank you for reading my post.
Can some one familiar with Sydney and Brisbane let me know which region of Brisbane is similar to Sydney's eastern and northern suburbs?

I am looking for a clean/ safe/ low crime/ close to CBD suburb.

Thanks.

The western suburbs. Starting with Paddington, Red Hill, Herston, Kelvin Grove, Auchenflower, Bardon, Ashgrove, Toowong, St Lucia, Indooroopilly and heading out towards "The Gap" or Kenmore - which both would have a lower crime rate than the others mentioned (and approaching the lowest in Brisbane) but are further out and more suburban. Depends how urban vs suburban you want to be.
