Regarding to Unis in Australia
Hi does anyone knows if University of Adelaide ... is that a good uni in Australia?

My understanding is that the most prestigous unis are ones that have the state name in them as they were in general the foundation uni of that state, ie; UWA,Uof SA, etc. Though in Melbourne, The Melbourne University has a very good rep. Also don't forget that it also depends upon what you want to study. In WA for instance, to study medicine you must go to UWA, but UWA does not necessarily have the cutting edge on innovative courses. It all depends on what you want to do, and what you course/uni you can get into.

And although both the University of Sydney and the University of New South Wales are in the Go8, Sydney University is older than the University of NSW.
