The article goes on to say how a newlywed couple were killed by a drunken Pole as he drove at speed with no lights on the wrong side of the road. It also cites other examples of such events.

Obviously these refugees have no licence, insurance, mot...nothing, they probably have never driven a car. The thing is they can't drive legally even if they wanted to becuse as soon as they apply for a licence or put their name to an insurance document they've blown their 'cover'. Mostly they drive unroadworthy wrecks, which only adds to the problem.

Before the sandal wearing, veggie eating do-gooders play the 'leave the poor little refugees alone' card, think on. How would you like your son/daughter to be a victim of this kind of needless atrocity?

A tragic story, as are all young deaths, but you will be wasting your time looking for better road safety in Oz. Licences? Insurance? You will confuse a lot of Ozzies if you use those foreign language phrases.

Your last paragraph is rubbish. You hope to use the emotion of this couple's death to make a general point and it is the sort of thing you should leave to the daily mail. There is not a single person anywhere that would "like your son/daughter...." so give it a rest. Carpenters have been murderers, thieves, and low-lifes of all kinds but you would think it is fair to label you with that just because you are a chippy? No.

This particular bloke was a prat and should not have been on the roads. Maybe he should not even be in the country. There are loads of poms with no right to be on the road and no ability to drive too. They should also not be on the roads and England would be better off without them too. You will find plenty like this in Oz - more, in my opinion, so don't get any illusions that you will leave these dangers behind either.

The car became airborne and slammed into the Riversdale Rd concrete bridge support about 4m above the roadway.

The roof of the vehicle was crushed as it took the brunt of the impact and the chassis was buckled by the force.

O.K l'll go with you in that there are locals who should not be on the road too. But what has that got to do with anything? Illegal immos make the problem worse (a lot worse), and thats my point.

When I was a kid my old man used to work in Saudi. At the time, in that country, a foreigner who had a car accident was automatically to blame. The logic being that if the foreigner was'nt there, the accident would never have happened. Whilst I don't advocate this stance it does illustrate my point.

I know I am going way off the original thread here, but I have a story to tell about bloody geese.
I have a friend who has a farm. They used to keep geese. Whenever anyone got within 20 feet of the blasted things you were chased at great speed up the yard.
My friends father had his wrist broken by the gander whilst he was protecting his lady geese.
I used to dread these rotton geese, they had it in for me. I used to try to pretend that I was big and brave, but when one of them comes at you you want to cack your pants.
One Easter I went down to the farm to see to the horses, and found it rather quiet in the yard. Asked my friend where old gander was. 'In the oven' she said.
'Oh I said'. But inside I was saying YES, YES,YES,YES.
It was the best Easter present I could have.
Next day I went down and asked how dinner had been, and it was the best goose she had ever had.
Yes I am an animal lover, but not when it came to that bloody goose. I hated every feather on his body, and that evil look as he used to raise his wings and flap as he came half running and half flying up that bloody yard, squarking as geese do.
