Default Refrigeration & A/C Mechanics

Hi,

We will be visiting Perth next month and would love to get a rough idea of the job situation for the above trade in that area.

Have checked the net and found a lot of recruitment agencies for office based jobs. Are there any specialised recruitment agencies for tradespersons? Would like to contact them during our visit to Perth.

Any help and suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Default Frigies!

Hi there,

my fella is an air con and fridge mechanic and we found that there are quite a few jobs in this area on the Hays Montrose website. But I think if you just put "australian job agencies" into your search engine - it will probably come up with thousands and you can narrow down the options to your trade and go from there. Is the company you work for international? You could try a transfer maybe. Oh! - also, look in the aussie phone book for fridge companys in the area you want to go to - there's usually e-mail addresses and you could be cheeky and mail them direct. Have you been out for a visit yet? We've been back 3 weeks now and before we went, we prepared a list of firms together in the areas we wanted to visit , so that when we got there we could go knocking on doors. this proved to be quite favourable for us and my hubby now has a few options for when we arrive.

Good luck, Leigh.

Hi - it's me again! Theres another site you might be intersted in - "Kelly services". I know they are usually associated with office workers but they also have a section just for trades.

Good luck, Leigh.

Hi Steandleigh,

Cheers!!!
