I'm wondering at present how the recruitment firms in Australia operate.
If you obtain a contract position through one of these agencies, will your subsequent performance come under the scrutiny of the agent? Or does the communication between agent and employer cease upon commencing employment?
I don't have a great amount of experience in obtaining work through agencies anywhere and would be keen on finding out how it works in oz. If the employer for whatever reason is dissatisfied with you presumably your chances of obtaining contract work through same agency would be reduced significantly?
I am asking with particular reference to finance/accountancy related fields.
