Recommended places to visit please?
Hi All,
The wife and I are spending Christmas in Melbourne this year with our family and in a Hotel for the New Years Eve fireworks in in Sydney.
We then plan to pop down to Adelaide for a couple of days before driving the Great Ocean Road to Melbourne and then returning to the UK via New Zealand and Singapore.
Unfortunately we wont have time to visit Merimbula this time round so I womdered if any one could recommend any really nice spots in Sydney to visit while we are there and any beach side places to visit in S.A. or Vic please?
Thanks for reading.

We drove along the coast from the Adelaide area to Geelong a few months ago. Fantastic drive and loved every minute.
The nicest place on the coast that we stopped at in SA was Robe. It's a really cute little town, had a bit of history, a couple of good pubs, nice cafes and in a great spot. I was seriously impressed - loved it. It makes a great overnight stop from Adelaide.
Apollo Bay is also really scenic and Lorne is lovely too, of course. The GOR is well documented and it's worth stopping at all the spots.
