Recommendations for a weekend away QLD
Hi
We live on the gold coast and want to take a long weekend break. Don't want to go too far (short plane ride o.k) - any recommendations? How warm will it be at say Fraser Island? Swimming temperature in the water? Thanks for any tips |

Thanks for any tips Depends where you want to depart from but we used to go to Stradie alot its small but freindly and there is a campsite or really nice accommodation, I never chanced the camping as there had been sightings of a few snakes  |

Thanks for any tips But not for swimming - not recommended cause of the rips and sharks - there are a couple of ranges of hotels and accommodation on the island and they have pools. What about Hamiliton Island? Have not been yet but always being recommended to me by Aussies. |
