Can anyone recommend any short term furnished accomodation in Sydney?

We want some where for 2-4 weeks whilst we find a rental (still not decided between Hornsby or Miranda and surrounding areas).

Cheers,
WW

What's your budget, WW? And you say Sydney, but do you mean the city centre or nearer where you plan to live?

I can name you quite a few serviced apartments in the CBD. Also, we stayed in a serviced apartment in Chatswood when we came on our looksee - it's now run by Mantra, it's on Brown St if you want to look it up.

We stayed at Meriton Serviced Apartment on Kent St in CBD during our recent validation trip. Excellent place for a family..... You can check this and other options on tripadvisor.com and read reviews of other people as well. If you are staying somewhere in Sutherland Shire, there could be some much cheaper alternatives as well. A bit googling could do it all for you!

We stayed at the Vulcan hotel for the first 5/6 days after we arrived it was near Darling Harbour and well situated. Had intended on getting a B&B there were some lovely ones but all were booked up, one was an apartment, reasonable cost - I just googled what I was looking for, many of the owners gave me more names if they were booked, very helpful. Good luck

We'd like to do a couple of weeks in both Miranda and Hornsby whilst we try and make our mind up. Price wise, cheaper the better as living off savings and trying to find jobs once there
