Hi all

I was last on this forum back in August when we had just arrived in Canada (here's my last post, FYI) but now we're about to move back home to Aus and I wondered if anyone had any recommendations for removal companies? Should I be asking this question in the Canada forum perhaps?? Apologies if so, happy to be set straight! I could just get quotes from the three we asked for quotes when we moved here but they don't seem to be prominent companies so I thought I'd ask here first. I tried searching the forums but couldn't find anything.

Well yes you would book it through the Canadian end so it would make more sense to ask there than at the destination end.

Having said that, a lot of companies are international. I would just try the usual suspects really, Pickfords, Doree Bonner, John Masons, Allied etc. get the three quotes in, choose the cheapest as they are much ofe a muchness.

Thanks, yes I just wasn't sure as there are some companies that seem to be the best/most dominant from the Aus perspective or a UK perspective but as we're now coming from Canada it might be a different kettle of fish. We used Pickfords to get here and Anglo-Pacific to come from London to Aus but wasn't sure if things might be done a little differently from Canada. Lord knows so many other things are very different!
