Hi there,

we are coming down to Brisbane in two weeks and will stay a while on 457 Visa. I have a 5 years old daugther. A per our own research and several recommendations we will look for a place to rent in these areas:
Paddington, Bardon, Rosalie, Milton,Taringa, Toowong, Indooroopilly, New Farm.

1. Anybody has any recommendations re the places (I already know rent prices) from you family point of view?
2. I'd like to know good (public) schools in these areas. We think the school will finally dictate the place for living
3. Any ideas about traffic problems there?

Hi Oliver,

I guess you have already arrived and probably found somewhere to live by now..? I live in Bardon and have a 6 yr old daughter who attends Bardon State School. It is a good school and the local community here is very friendly and supportive. Please contact me if you want to ask anything about the school.
