Default recognised qualifications in Oz?

Hello,

I wonder if you could answer my question? I have a double BA honuors degree in English and a postgraduate degree in magazine journalism and i was wondering if these degrees were recognised in Oz and would help me gain a job? Or would I need to retrain in a profession which is in need in Oz? what actual professions are recognised in Australia?

thankyou

It depends if you bought them on ebay

Seriously, I believe in most instances you have to get your skills assessed by the appropriate professional body. http://www.immi.gov.au/asri/index.htm

You should have no problem just check out http://www.vetassess.com.au/ or dest.gov.au and all associated links. E.
