Received visa grant letter
Thought I would post our timeline for others to compare
applied for a STNI visa subclass 137 (victoria; pre-primary school teacher)
I know ive asked before but has anybody recently turned up at Australia House to receive their visa stickers or is it post only ?
timeline
Feb 6th 2004 Applied for Skills assessment
March 4th Received positive skills assessment from NOOSR
March 5th Applied for sponsorship/ nomination with Victoria
April 26th Received nomination
April 30th Visa application submitted
May 21st Sent off police checks (medicals sent by Clinic) waited visa application number before sending
July 26th Received pre-grant letter subject to pages from passport as we were in Oz at time
August 14th Faxed over bio-pages with new stamps
August 24th Received visa grant letter !!
To everybody waiting- dont give up !

Re: your timeline did you receive an ackowledgment letter as we applied in June with a STNI from Victoria yet 9 weeks later we still have no letter.(We have our file number by email)
We have completed our Meds and PCC's they have them at DIMIA, so just wondering whats happening.
Also where are you planning on settling in Victoria have you made your minds up yet?
