Hi ALL
have been all the way through search and cant seem to find what Im lookin for
Have already booked a place to stay for our first week on gold coast but does anyone have any reccomendations for a nice place to stay in Brissie for our second week.
for a family with 2 kids aged 8 and 14 years. To view different areas of brissie and maybe a bit of sunshine coast too
dont mind whether its a hotel/motel/caravan park or apartments
many thanks

Re: reccomendations for good places to stay in Brissie
Hi
We used http://www.brisbanebound.com/ when we went on a reccie in april. Had 2 weeks in the Carina house. Lovely house in a great location. 5 mins from main road that runs to sunshine coast and the gold coast.Only a few miles outside Brissie. City cat ferry is 5 mins driveaway, and a great way to travel into brisbane. The guy who owns the houses is really nice, and being an ex-pat himself, is able to give loads of advice. Thoroughlty enjoyed our stay there

Hi
we used Brisbane Holiday Village and had a Cosmo Cabin.
http://www.brisbaneholiday.com.au/
The Cosmo Cabin was very good and the kids loved the place. Not that expensive at all. Had putting course, tennis courts, barbie area and a pool. It was also in a very good location at Mt Gravatt, as it was not too far from all the motorways to up north down south or where ever. Right next to Garden City shopping centre, and park and ride bus into Brisbane is there as well, which goes right into Brisbane on its own roads so very fast. The Staff at BHV were excellent, nothing was too much trouble, they would spend ages showing us anything we needed to go or what to do. If we asked a question or needed something and they couldnt sort straight away, there would be notes or anything waiting at our cabin when we next came back.
i would certainly recommend going there to anyone.
