Recci in July/August Gold Coast
Hi All
Well, booked our flights for 27th July (Emirates) from Manchester. We are staying at Bayview Waters Runaway Bay Gold Coast. Does any one know, any thing good or bad about the area, where to visit ect. If any one, would like to meet for a coffee ect, that would be great. Any other info welcome.
Thanks
Paula

All of the mountains are worth a drive, Tamborine, O Reillys, Springbrook etc. Currumbin wildlife park, Seaworld, Broadbeach for a bite to eat, book a whale watching trip or watch them from Fingal Head by the lighthouse, trip to Byron Bay (an hour and a half) couple of days in Brisbane, Mount Cootha, Lone Pines Koala Sanctuary, stroll around South Bank and Queen Street Mall. Jump on the city cat ferry and go from one end to the other.
Have a night at Draculas caberet but get a cab there and have a few beers, try your luck at Jupiters casino.
Loads of areas to drive around, you have to just try every road that looks interesting. The hinterland is good too and bigger plots.
Good luck.
