Re: reasons for living IN austraila
My main reason for living in Australia is that my husband and girls live here. I'd be damned miserable somewhere else because I like living with these people.

Hey J_B, how's it going? Havent been in touch with you for ageeeeeees.....
Reasons for living here: Space A decent size house with a reasonable mortgage, not a shoe box and no money at the end of every month to have a life!!! Weather - DD can play outside for 95% of the year Laid back lifestyle - that feeling of "i'll do it tomorrow" rather than "must do it today, rush, rush, rush..." DH working less but getting paid more In general we have a far better life here, there is no way I'd be able to give up work to look after our two kids in the UK, we had a pretty small mortgage there (half what we have here) and yet never had any money to spare and that was with us both working full time - in fact DH worked more than full time, he did a minimum 60 our week there. |

Anyway, dont want to hijack the thread - will PM you my email addy as would love to hear what's been happening to you. Oh, and Moneypen - think it was Rockingham not Rockhampton! ;) |
