Real Estate Tv
don't know if this has been pointed out before but there appears to be a new Sky channel which basically shows all the Aussie versions of Location,Location,Hot auctions etc-it is channel 250 and is worth a look-interesting to see the auction sales, seem to be some tidy bargains out there(not sure how old the programmes are mind you!).

Re: Real Estate Tv
You can watch the whole day's viewing in just 90 minutes ( ie they repeat it all, all day, over and over and over and over and over again ) Tis interesting though and they're promising a new series of 'real ' peoples experiences living in major cities and areas around the world, the advert shows a bit on Docklands / canary wharf which looks good so hopefully they'll have some aussie bits in that new series.

18/10/04 Real Estate TV launches on Sky EPG
A new property TV channel called Real Estate TV has launched on the Sky platform today. Real Estate TV is the brainchild of former BSkyB creative director Bruce Dunlop and Mark Dodd. It will air 18 hours of property programming a day including Channel 4 hit Location, Location, Location. Mr Dodd said the station would position itself as an entertainment-led "trusted guide" for prospective buyers. It will broadcast on Sky EPG 250.

They have already been shown many times on Home and Leisure (133) in the UK.

Watched it for the first time last night.
How is it er like, legal to invent bids when conducting an auction?!?!?!?
and I believe they do it all the time!
and what about the 5 year old house with, OMG, the horror of it all - creaky floor boards! major structural defect that one eh?
Looking forward to seeing more though, esp. the show about aussie dream homes.
