Hi, me and my husband have discussed him transferring to the australian royal navy but have no idea where to start, what paperwork we need etc. Also he is in the british submarines so would like to go to the australian submarines. Any help would be great and very much appreciated. thank you

Now we are here and settled my old man (and mum) is looking to make a move over

He retired first time round as the Provest Marshall Navy and has been recalled back twice now for service in Sierra Leone and currently in Uganda.

He turns 60 next month so way over the normal age limit but hes got a few good years left in him and becuase of his age was hoping the RAN might be interested in him and his wealth of experiance.

Anyone any ideas where we would start exploring this ??

I don't think they will be too happy if you keep calling them the Australian Royal Navy!

RAN has 6 submarines (all based in Rockingham WA) but only 1 of them works, so there might not be too many job openings.
