Does anyone know how much experience you need from your skilled occucpation to be able to get a skills assessment???

Depends on your skill assessing authority and your own circumstances.
DIMIA have their own work experience requirements as well, which are separate.
You'll get more responses to questions like this on the immigration forum, but you do need to be specific.
